Sunlight Study 2…

Lisa and her amazing camera has produced these amazing photos for the sunlight study assignment.  I have chosen a selection from each material and time slot.

First our brown card model only.

9am.

1pm.

3pm.

Next, our card model with blue cellophane – notice how the reflected blue area rotates along the floor of the model like a sun dial.

10am.

1pm.

4pm.

Next, our card model with a frosted/transluscent plastic façade, notice how the shadows are able to be cast onto the northern façade because it is a matte surface, and how the surface appears to illuminate as the sun light comes into the space from behind.

10am.

1pm.

4pm.

Next, the card model with a copper strip down the centre (aisle), notice the coppers reflectivity, particularly how light reflecting off the copper surface moves around the model over the course of the day.

10am.

1pm.

4pm.

Finally, the card model with the blue cellophane, frosted plastic and copper strip.  These are my favourite photos, the affects of each material come together to create an incredible ambience!

10am.

1pm.

4pm.
